Lotus has revealed an updated Emira range for 2026, introducing two new variants — the V6 SE and Emira Turbo — alongside several technical enhancements across the lineup. These updates aim to improve both the performance and everyday usability of the brand’s last purely combustion-powered model.

The most notable addition is the Emira V6 SE. It retains the 3.5-litre supercharged V6 engine producing 400 hp, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. A new compression mount for the manual gearbox has been added, enhancing shift precision. Alongside this, the damper setup has been recalibrated and minor wheel alignment changes have been made to improve both ride comfort and handling sharpness. The car continues to offer two chassis setups – Tour for daily comfort and Sport for more focused driving. Hydraulic steering remains standard to maintain the engaging feedback that Lotus cars are known for.

Buyers can personalise their car with 15 exterior paint options, seven interior themes, four brake caliper colours, and eight wheel designs. Prices for this variant start at £96,500 ( approx ₹1.11 crore) in the UK.

At the entry point of the range sits the new Emira Turbo, which uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine sourced from AMG, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. It produces 360 hp and completes the 0-100 km/h run in 4.4 seconds. Despite being the base model, it offers high-end features such as Tour and Sport drive modes, electro-hydraulic power steering, and an integrated rear spoiler. Exterior styling includes Turbo badges, yellow-black Lotus emblems, and satin silver details. It is available to order now, priced at £79,500 ( approx ₹91.99 lakh) in the UK.

Across the range, Lotus has implemented several mechanical updates. The cooling system has been reworked for better flow, reducing overall weight while improving efficiency. The engine thermostat now opens at 75°C instead of 65°C, enhancing engine performance in demanding situations. The air-conditioning system has also been recalibrated for more consistent cooling in warmer conditions. Additionally, the dual-clutch transmission now offers quicker, smoother gear changes.
