2026 Triumph Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition debuts with retro-inspired styling, paying homage to the iconic “Slippery Sam” race bike. It gets bold livery, advanced rider aids like cornering ABS, and retains the proven 660cc triple-cylinder engine.

Triumph has unveiled the special edition 2026 Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition, a motorcycle that pays homage to the iconic Triumph Trident number-67 “Slippery Sam,” which won the Isle of Man Production TT race for five consecutive years from 1971 to 1975. The new version of the Trident 660 celebrates this racing legacy with a striking design, enhanced with modern rider-focused technology and features.
Design and Aesthetic Highlights

The 2026 Triumph Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition stands out with its unique livery, which features a bold new design. The standout feature is the three-tone tank design that combines black, blue, and red shades, alongside a “67” badge that nods to the race bike that inspired this edition. The Diablo Red wheels further enhance its sporty appeal, providing an eye-catching contrast to the rest of the bike’s design.

The tribute edition also incorporates a more aggressive and modern look, with the Diablo Red wheels complementing the new aesthetic. The paintwork on the tank, with its intricate blend of colors, pays homage to the classic racing design while offering a fresh, contemporary feel.
Performance Features and Updates

Mechanically, the Triple Tribute Edition retains the same powerful specifications as the standard Trident 660. The bike continues to be powered by the 660cc inline-triple engine that delivers 81 horsepower and 64 Nm of torque. Triumph has also carried over the 6-axis IMU from the 2025 Trident 660, which provides enhanced cornering ABS, traction control, cruise control, and a new “Sport” riding mode.
In terms of suspension, the bike comes with the updated Show SFF-BP (Separate Function Fork – Big Piston) system, coupled with a forged aluminum triple clamp. The bike’s geometry has been revised to feature a 6mm shorter wheelbase for improved handling, while the rake angle has been adjusted from 23.9 to 24.6 degrees for better stability and agility.
Price and Availability
While Triumph has not yet confirmed if the Trident 660 Triple Tribute Edition will be available in India, the bike has already gone on sale in the USA. Priced at $8,745 (approximately ₹7.40 lakh), it costs only $150 more than the standard Trident 660. In India, the standard Trident 660 is priced at ₹8.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and the new 2025 model is expected to see a slight price increase due to changes in emission norms.
