Jeep has officially taken the wraps off the next-generation Compass, showcasing the SUV in full through real-world images after earlier teaser previews. The reveal coincides with another major announcement — the renewal of Jeep’s sponsorship with Juventus F.C., strengthening the brand’s long-standing connection with European football.

Striking New Design, Built on STLA Medium Platform

The new Compass introduces a more upright and bold stance, now underpinned by the STLA Medium architecture. The featured model, finished in a vibrant lime green with a contrasting black roof, is the all-electric variant. It sports redesigned muscular arches, sharp LED headlamps, and a sleeker interpretation of the seven-slot grille, now mostly closed off for better aerodynamics.

Heritage design elements remain, including Willys graphics on the hubcaps and a subtle Willys face on the front bumper, indicating this could be a special launch edition. The SUV rides on large 20-inch alloy wheels, further enhancing its presence.

Wide Powertrain Range, Including High-Output AWD EV

The new Compass will be available with multiple powertrains:

  • 145 hp 1.2L mild-hybrid
  • 195 hp 1.6L plug-in hybrid
  • Three electric variants, starting at 213 hp, with the flagship AWD version delivering 375 hp

The AWD variant includes a 66 hp rear motor producing 232 Nm, paired with a 14:1 reduction gear to deliver 3,100 Nm of torque to the rear axle. Jeep claims this setup allows the SUV to climb 20% gradients even without front-wheel assistance.

Improved Space and Utility

Despite maintaining its 4.55-metre length, the updated architecture improves interior space. Rear passengers get an extra 55 mm of legroom, and the boot capacity increases by 45 litres, now at 550 litres. Up front, the cabin offers 34 litres of practical storage space.

Charging Efficiency and Aerodynamics

The all-electric Compass supports 160 kW DC fast charging, enabling a 20–80% charge in just 30 minutes. A 22 kW AC onboard charger is also offered for routine use. Aerodynamic enhancements like active grille shutters, air curtains, and a flat underbody help keep the drag coefficient below 0.3, improving range and efficiency.

Jeep and Juventus: A Long-Standing Alliance Renewed

Alongside the vehicle debut, Jeep announced it will return as the Official Sponsor of Juventus F.C. for the 2025–2026 season, covering the men’s team, women’s team, and Juventus Next Gen squad. The Jeep logo will feature prominently on the front of the new jerseys, set to debut on Sunday, May 18, during the club’s final home match of the current season.

This renewal marks the fourteenth season of the Jeep-Juventus collaboration, which began in 2012–2013. Over the years, the partnership has seen Juventus secure 19 titles with the men’s team, 13 with the women’s team, and a Coppa Italia Serie C with Next Gen. These victories have run parallel with Jeep’s market growth across Italy and Europe, fuelled by innovation and the rollout of advanced technologies.

The upcoming kits will also feature “Visit Detroit” branding — a nod to Jeep’s roots in the Motor City — underlining the global appeal and cultural crossover of both the brand and the football club.

Production and Market Launch

Production of the new Compass will begin in Italy by late 2025, with European markets set to receive the model first. A launch timeline for India remains uncertain, given current import duties and policy constraints.
