Audi A6L e-tron debuts at Auto Shanghai 2025 with a 107 kWh battery, 770 km range, and 132 mm longer wheelbase, offering enhanced luxury and performance for the Chinese EV market.

Audi has officially unveiled the long-wheelbase version of its new-generation A6 e-tron electric vehicle at Auto Shanghai 2025. Named the A6L e-tron, this model will initially be available in the Chinese market. While it shares much of its design language with the standard version, it brings a few significant upgrades — most notably, a longer wheelbase and a larger battery pack, which contribute to a longer driving range.

The A6L e-tron’s wheelbase measures 132 mm more than that of the standard variant, while width and height remain unchanged.

The interior layout continues to offer premium features including a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.9-inch display for the front passenger. The overall equipment list is also expected to remain largely the same, comprising a panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, and a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Underpinning the A6L e-tron is a new 107 kWh battery pack, enabling an impressive range of up to 770 km on a single charge. Audi has yet to release full details about the powertrain, but it is anticipated to be similar to the 100 kWh Sportback Performance version of the standard A6 e-tron, which delivers around 375 bhp.
The production of the Audi A6L e-tron will take place locally at Audi’s facility in Changchun, China.
