Bentley unveils the new Continental GT, GT Convertible, and Flying Spur with Azure variants at Auto Shanghai 2025, highlighting wellness-focused luxury and design. The Continental GT Azure debuts a 680 PS High Performance Hybrid powertrain, while the Flying Spur Azure adds advanced comfort tech and massage seating. Completing the showcase, the Bentayga EWB Azure features bespoke craftsmanship and a striking Nīla Blue Mulliner finish.
Bentley Motors has debuted a refreshed and expanded lineup of its flagship grand tourers and luxury sedan at Auto Shanghai 2025, introducing new fourth-generation versions of the Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible, and Flying Spur. Alongside the renowned Speed variants, Bentley also revealed the new Azure trim, which prioritizes comfort, wellness, and distinctive design.
The biggest highlight is the launch of Bentley’s new High Performance Hybrid powertrain, now available across the Continental GT, GT Convertible, and Flying Spur Azure models. This advanced hybrid setup pairs a 4.0-litre V8 engine with an electric motor to deliver an impressive 680 PS and 930 Nm of torque, offering both high performance and improved efficiency.
Continental GT and GT Convertible Azure: Wellness-Focused Luxury
Designed with an emphasis on passenger wellbeing, the new Continental GT Azure and GT Convertible Azure feature a host of comfort-focused innovations. Exterior styling updates include a gloss black matrix grille with bright chrome surround and vertical vanes, a gloss black front splitter, and unique 22-inch Azure alloy wheels. On display, the GT Convertible Azure was finished in a striking Breeze color.
Inside, Bentley’s new 3D Harmony diamond quilting is paired with open pore crown cut walnut veneer and Azure-branded treadplates. The Azure specification brings in Wellness seating, mood lighting, and Bentley’s Touring, Comfort, and Lighting specification packages. The GT Azure also includes a panoramic sunroof, while the Convertible adds a neck warmer for top-down driving comfort.
Flying Spur Azure: Rear Comfort Meets Executive Elegance
Echoing the design cues of the GT Azure, the new Flying Spur Azure receives a vertically vaned chrome grille, Azure badging, and its own silver and machined metal wheels. Inside, the focus continues on wellness, with Wellness seating in all four outer seats featuring heating, ventilation, and a massage function with six programmable settings to minimize fatigue and promote alertness.
Additional enhancements include mood lighting, open pore walnut trim, and illuminated treadplates. Advanced driver assistance systems from the Touring and Comfort packages come standard, promoting a more relaxed and secure driving experience.
Bentayga EWB Azure: A Flagship of Comfort and Craftsmanship
Completing Bentley’s Shanghai presentation was the Bentayga Extended Wheelbase Azure, a showcase of technology and comfort tailored for long-distance luxury. Developed in consultation with wellness experts and neuroscientists, the EWB Azure offers a low-NVH environment and an interior designed to reduce fatigue.
Presented in a bespoke Nīla Blue finish by Mulliner—a deep sapphire shade inspired by British fashion designer Supriya Lele’s Indian heritage—the Bentayga EWB Azure reflects Bentley’s commitment to personalized craftsmanship. Features include unique 22-inch directional wheels, an expansive rear cabin, 22-way adjustable front seats, and Bentley’s softest quilt to date, thanks to newly developed finer sewing threads.
Buyers can also select from a staggering 24 billion trim combinations, allowing unprecedented levels of customization.
