BMW Group India Expands Retail.NEXT Presence in Delhi NCR with Two New Showrooms

BMW Group India has expanded its retail footprint in the Delhi NCR region with the launch of two new showrooms under its global Retail.NEXT initiative. The new facilities, opened in partnership with Deutsche Motoren and Infinity Cars, are designed to offer a modern, immersive, and digitally integrated experience for customers shopping for premium and luxury vehicles.

The Retail.NEXT format aims to transform the traditional car showroom into an interactive space that blends cutting-edge design with seamless customer service. The concept has already been implemented in several global markets, and with its growing presence in India, BMW is looking to reshape how luxury vehicles are sold and experienced.

The Deutsche Motoren facility, located in the Mohan Cooperative Industrial Estate on Mathura Road, covers 8,600 square feet and features two levels displaying a total of 9 BMW vehicles. The showroom has been designed to enhance the overall customer journey—from entry to vehicle consultation, to final delivery—with a focus on intuitive layout, open spaces, and technology-driven interactions.

“Our long-standing partnership with BMW Group India has always been built on a shared vision of delivering excellence. Setting up the new Retail.NEXT showroom in the heart of Delhi is a strategic move that reflects both the evolution of our brand and changing expectations of the modern luxury consumer. With this revamp, we are elevating the entire customer journey to meet the aspirations of today’s discerning buyers of luxury. Together, we are poised to redefine the luxury car buying experience, promising unparalleled service and unforgettable experiences for BMW customers in the region,” said Yadur Kapur, Dealer Principal, Deutsche Motoren.

Infinity Cars has opened its new showroom in Rajouri Garden, West Delhi, spread across 6,490 square feet. It showcases 5 new BMW vehicles and 4 BMW Premium Selection cars. This is Infinity’s second Retail.NEXT outlet, following a successful launch in Mumbai.

“Following the successful launch of our Retail.NEXT facility in Mumbai, we are proud to bring this progressive retail concept to our Delhi dealership. This reflects our deep-rooted partnership with BMW Group India and our commitment to staying ahead of evolving customer expectations. Situated in one of the most dynamic luxury markets, this upgraded showroom is setting new standards for luxury automotive retail in the region,” said Pooja Choudary, Dealer Principal, Infinity Cars.

A Shift in Customer Experience

Retail.NEXT showrooms depart from the conventional dealership model by introducing a more customer-centric layout. Upon entering, visitors are welcomed at a dedicated Welcome Stand, replacing the traditional reception desk to foster a more approachable environment. The centrally located BMW Bar & Lounge offers a comfortable space for refreshments, enhancing the overall showroom experience. Strategically placed consultation areas near the vehicles provide a relaxed setting for discussions, aiming to make customer interactions more engaging and personalized.

In addition to new car displays, the showrooms integrate BMW’s lifestyle products, accessories, and service consultation zones into one cohesive layout. Customers also have access to AC and DC fast-charging stations, catering to the increasing demand for electric vehicles like the BMW i series.

Both showrooms also include a “Handover Bay” designed for vehicle deliveries and test drives, aiming to make the handover process more memorable and convenient.

Continued Growth in India

The expansion in Delhi NCR is part of BMW Group India’s ongoing strategy to strengthen its presence in key metropolitan areas. The company has been focusing on enhancing customer engagement through digital integration and modern retail formats, aligning with evolving preferences for convenience, personalization, and sustainability.

BMW currently operates a network of sales and service outlets across India, in collaboration with dealer partners including Deutsche Motoren, Infinity Cars, and Bird Automotive.

With growing demand for technology-driven and customer-centric experiences in the luxury automobile sector, the Retail.NEXT format represents a shift toward a more immersive and contemporary approach to automotive retail.
