BMW has launched the all-new M5 Touring in Singapore, expanding its high-performance lineup with a versatile model that blends track-ready capabilities with everyday practicality. Marking its arrival in the region, the M5 Touring becomes the third M model to feature BMW’s M HYBRID system, combining a twin-turbo V8 engine with an electric motor for a total output of 727 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque.

Under the hood, the M5 Touring is powered by a 4.4-litre V8 paired with a 145 kW electric motor integrated into the 8-speed M Steptronic transmission. The hybrid setup allows for a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 3.6 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 250 km/h, which can be increased to 305 km/h with the optional M Driver’s Package. Drivers can also switch to all-electric driving at speeds up to 140 km/h, supported by a high-voltage battery offering up to 67 km of EV range on the WLTP cycle.

The M xDrive all-wheel-drive system, coupled with the Active M Differential, delivers precise power distribution and sharp handling dynamics. Drivers can select from multiple drive modes, including 4WD Sport and pure rear-wheel-drive 2WD mode, allowing for tailored driving experiences ranging from daily comfort to track-focused performance.

The rear features slim LED tail lights, quad exhaust pipes integrated into a two-section diffuser, and a powered tailgate. Compared to the regular 5 Series Touring, the M5 version brings a more muscular and performance-oriented aesthetic.

Built on a chassis tuned specifically for high-performance driving, the M5 Touring features adaptive M suspension with electronically controlled dampers, Integral Active Steering, and M-specific rigidity enhancements. M Compound brakes come standard, with optional M Carbon ceramic brakes available. The car rides on staggered 20-inch front and 21-inch rear lightweight alloy wheels wrapped in high-performance tyres.
