BMW has teased a new concept car, showcasing a sleek shooting brake design inspired by its limited-edition Skytop model. This exclusive release highlights BMW’s focus on unique, small-series vehicles.

BMW is preparing to reveal a new concept car, believed to be a shooting brake version inspired by its limited-production Skytop model. Recent teaser images showcase the vehicle’s sleek rear design, featuring a flowing roofline and slim LED taillights that reflect the styling of the Skytop convertible. This new concept adopts a shooting brake body style, combining sporty proportions with practical design elements.
The concept is expected to be based on the BMW 8-Series (G15) platform. While official powertrain details are yet to be confirmed, it is likely to share the powerful twin-turbocharged V8 engine found in the M8 Competition, offering impressive performance.

BMW has indicated that this concept fits within its approach of launching exclusive, limited-run models to enhance its lineup. BMW produced only 50 units of the original Skytop model, which were quickly sold out due to high demand. These limited-edition cars were primarily made available in select markets, reinforcing BMW’s strategy of offering exclusive, small-series vehicles to enthusiasts. This new shooting brake concept is expected to follow a similar approach.
