Following a month packed with mainstream launches like the Tata Altroz facelift, Volkswagen Golf GTI, to Kia Carens Clavis, the Indian automotive market is now preparing for a shift towards more premium offerings in June 2025. The lineup includes key electric vehicles such as the Tata Harrier EV, alongside performance and luxury models from global brands. Here’s a look at the key models expected to arrive in the coming weeks.

Tata Harrier EV

Expected Price: ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom)
Launch Date: June 3, 2025

Tata Motors is set to unveil the Harrier EV on June 3, marking a significant step in the brand’s electric mobility roadmap. First showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 and again in its production-ready form earlier this year, the electric version of the Harrier closely resembles its ICE counterpart with subtle exterior tweaks to distinguish it as an EV.

On the inside, it carries over much of the design and features from the ICE model, including a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, and a JBL 10-speaker audio setup. EV-specific features such as summon mode, vehicle-to-load (V2L), and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging are also included.

Safety is a strong point with 7 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS. While Tata has yet to confirm the drivetrain details, the Harrier EV is expected to be available in a dual-motor AWD configuration with a claimed range of 500 km. Prices are estimated to fall between ₹24 lakh and ₹30 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most premium EV offering from Tata Motors to date.

MG Cyberster
