The Genesis X Gran Equator Concept, which made its debut at the 2025 New York International Auto Show at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, continues to attract attention as it remains on display at Genesis House New York in the Meatpacking District until the end of July. As Genesis’ first adventure-focused concept vehicle, the X Gran Equator blends the brand’s signature luxury with overlanding capability, offering a fresh take on its “Athletic Elegance” design philosophy geared toward outdoor exploration. Let’s take a closer look Genesis X Gran Equator Concept.

The X Gran Equator Concept stands out with a minimalist yet bold exterior. It features clean body lines, a long hood, sleek cabin, and sharply raked C-pillars—stepping away from conventional SUV proportions. To highlight its off-road character, Genesis has equipped the concept with dark wheel-arch cladding and large 24-inch beadlock wheels. The vehicle also gets geometric auxiliary lighting and a split-opening tailgate, adding functionality to its premium styling. Genesis’ signature Two-Line headlamps remain a central design element.

Inside the cabin, the X Gran Equator Concept combines analog design cues with advanced digital technology. A standout feature is the four-circle display cluster located on the center stack, inspired by vintage camera dials. The interior also highlights sharp geometric shapes over organic curves, with contrasting materials and colors throughout. A clean, linear dashboard directs focus to the driving experience, while swiveling front seats and modular storage enhance comfort and practicality for longer journeys.

The name “Gran Equator” draws inspiration from the world of Arabian horses, referencing “Equator,” known as one of the finest stallions. It symbolizes qualities like endurance, agility, and controlled strength—characteristics Genesis hopes to embody in this concept.
