Jeep Wrangler Willys ’41 Edition, based on Rubicon, sold out within weeks in India. Priced at ₹73.16 lakh (ex-showroom), it features exclusive military green paint, upgraded accessories, and a powerful 2.0L turbo engine.

Jeep India’s limited-edition Wrangler Willys ’41, based on the Rubicon trim, has been fully booked shortly after its launch on May 5, 2025. All 30 units allocated for the Indian market have been sold out in under a month, highlighting strong demand for this special model priced at ₹73.16 lakh (ex-showroom).
This exclusive edition pays tribute to the original 1941 Willys MB, a rugged military vehicle that served during World War II. Reflecting its heritage, the Wrangler Willys ’41 features a unique “41 Green” paint inspired by the military green of the classic Jeep, along with a distinctive ‘1941’ decal on the hood. While the special green was the main highlight, customers could also choose from regular Wrangler colours such as white, black, red, and grey.

The Willys ’41 Edition builds on the Rubicon’s off-road credentials and adds a set of thoughtful features. These include powered side steps for easier access, new grab handles inside the cabin, all-weather floor mats, and front and rear dashcams to record drives and trails. For buyers wanting extra adventure-ready gear, Jeep offered an optional accessory package priced at ₹4.65 lakh, which included a sunrider rooftop, a side ladder, and a roof carrier.

Under the hood, the Willys ’41 retains the Wrangler Rubicon’s mechanical setup. It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine delivering 270 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission, complemented by a full-time 4×4 system with locking differentials and low-range gearing for serious off-road performance.
