Jeep Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition launched in India with 30 units, exclusive Military Green paint, added off-road gear, and priced at Rs 73.16 lakh (ex-showroom).
Jeep India has officially launched the Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition in the country, paying homage to the original military Willys Jeep from 1941. This limited-run model is based on the Rubicon variant and is restricted to just 30 units nationwide. The edition brings with it several exclusive features, both in terms of styling and utility enhancements, to stand apart from the standard model.
Visually, the Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition makes a strong statement with its distinct appearance. It is offered in a unique 1941 Military Green paint scheme, a colour exclusively developed for this edition and not available on any other Jeep model. Complementing the paintwork is a “1941” hood decal, paying tribute to Jeep’s military heritage.
The model also gains practical features such as power-deploying side steps for easier ingress and egress, all-weather floor mats, and front and rear grab handles. It comes equipped with a dual-channel Digital Video Recorder (dashcam) setup for added safety and convenience. These elements add both functionality and rugged appeal to the vehicle, making it suitable for serious off-road use.
Jeep is also offering an optional accessory pack specially designed for the Willys ‘41 edition. The pack includes a roof carrier with integrated side ladders and a Sunrider soft-top roof. This accessory kit is priced at Rs 4.56 lakh and transforms the Wrangler into a more versatile expedition-ready vehicle. These enhancements, combined with the standard off-road equipment, make the Wrangler Willys ‘41 a comprehensive package for enthusiasts.
Powering the Willys ‘41 Special Edition is the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that powers the standard Wrangler. The motor delivers 270 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4×4 drivetrain. Being based on the Rubicon, the off-road capabilities remain intact with hardware suited for demanding terrains.
In terms of pricing, the Jeep Wrangler Willys ‘41 Special Edition is priced at Rs 73.16 lakh (ex-showroom), commanding a premium of Rs 1.51 lakh over the standard Wrangler Rubicon. This premium reflects the exclusive colour, added accessories, and limited production.
