Lamborghini Temerario Launched in India at ₹6 Crore

Lamborghini Temerario launched in India at ₹6 crore with 907 bhp hybrid powertrain, 0-100 km/h in 2.7 sec, and bold design inspired by the Revuelto.

Lamborghini Temerario

Lamborghini has introduced its latest plug-in hybrid supercar, the Temerario, in India at a starting price of ₹6 crore (ex-showroom). It is the brand’s second High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) in the country, following the Revuelto introduced in 2023. This launch also signals the end of the Huracan’s decade-long reign in Lamborghini’s lineup.

Design and Styling

Lamborghini Temerario

The Temerario builds on the Huracan’s iconic design with a more aggressive, aerodynamic profile. At the front, it features slim two-part headlights, hexagonal LED DRLs integrated into the bumper, and a sculpted bonnet. The side profile gets large air intakes behind the doors and a sleek roofline, giving it the classic Lamborghini silhouette. It rides on 20-inch wheels at the front and 21-inch wheels at the rear.

The rear end is equally striking, sporting high-mounted exhaust outlets, much like the Revuelto, along with sharply styled tail lamps and a race-inspired bumper. The overall design is bold and clearly follows Lamborghini’s distinctive styling.

Interior and Features

Inside the cabin, the Temerario shares several elements from the Revuelto, including three digital screens—a 12.3-inch instrument cluster for the driver, an 8.4-inch central infotainment touchscreen, and a 9.1-inch display for the passenger. The cabin is finished in high-quality materials like leather, carbon fiber, and Dinamica’s Corsatex suede. Optional carbon-fiber sports seats and the fighter jet-style flip-up start button add to its dramatic flair.

The interior is also more practical, offering extra storage spaces. The driver’s seat is 18-way adjustable with heating and ventilation. On the safety front, the car features ABS with EBD, multiple airbags, front and rear parking sensors, a tire pressure monitoring system, and advanced driver assistance features.

Powertrain and Performance

Replacing the Huracan’s naturally aspirated V10, the Temerario is powered by a newly developed 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that revs up to a wild 10,000 rpm. This engine alone produces 789 bhp and 730 Nm. Combined with three electric motors and a 3.8 kWh battery, the hybrid system delivers a total output of 907 bhp and 800 Nm. That’s a 40% jump in power compared to the Huracan’s 640 bhp.

Performance figures are impressive—a claimed 0 to 100 km/h sprint in just 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 343 km/h. The powertrain is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, offering 13 different drive modes, including a pure-electric option for short-distance driving. The battery can be recharged in around 30 minutes via plug-in charging or regenerative braking.

Market Position and Rivals

With an ex-showroom price of ₹6 crore, the Lamborghini Temerario is positioned above the Huracan in the brand’s India lineup and below the flagship Revuelto. It rivals other high-performance plug-in hybrid supercars such as the McLaren 750S and Ferrari 296 GTB in the Indian market.

The Temerario made its global debut at the Monterey Car Week in August 2024 and has now been introduced in India as part of Lamborghini’s expanding electrified lineup.
