Lamborghini is set to introduce its latest supercar, the Temerario, in the Indian market on April 30, 2025. First unveiled globally in August 2024 during the prestigious Monterey Car Week, the highly anticipated successor to the Huracán is now making its way to Indian showrooms.
The Lamborghini Temerario represents a new chapter for the Italian automaker, marking its entry into the high-performance hybrid supercar segment. It is the first model from the brand to feature a V8 twin-turbo engine combined with three electric motors, producing a combined output of 920 CV. As part of Lamborghini’s HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) range, the Temerario is engineered to deliver a blend of dynamic performance, efficiency, and everyday usability.

In terms of design, the Temerario continues Lamborghini’s tradition of bold and futuristic styling. It features hexagon-shaped daytime running lights that reflect the brand’s iconic geometric design language, while the exposed engine bay is framed by a newly developed spoiler that enhances both aerodynamics and aesthetics.

The interior of the Temerario builds on Lamborghini’s “Feel like a pilot” philosophy, offering a driver-centric cockpit with a host of modern upgrades. A longer wheelbase compared to the Huracán contributes to improved cabin space and headroom. Newly designed comfort seats, along with an upgraded Human-Machine Interface (HMI), aim to enhance both the driving experience and passenger comfort.
The Temerario is equipped with several connected features, including Telemetry 2.0, Memories Recorder, an integrated dashcam, and Augmented Reality Navigation. These systems are designed to provide a more immersive and informative driving experience.
Under the hood, the hybrid powertrain consists of a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 789 horsepower, complemented by three electric motors. The total system output stands at 907 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. Two of the electric motors are mounted on the front axle, enabling electric-only driving capabilities and all-wheel drive functionality. The third motor is positioned between the V8 engine and the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, contributing to smoother gear shifts and improved throttle response.
The 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery can be recharged in approximately 30 minutes using a 7 kW AC charger, or through regenerative braking and the internal combustion engine. This hybrid setup allows for short-range electric-only operation, adding a layer of versatility to the high-performance machine.
Performance figures are consistent with Lamborghini’s reputation for speed and power. The Temerario can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and reaches a top speed exceeding 340 km/h. The vehicle includes multiple driving modes, including a dedicated Drift mode, offering a range of dynamic driving experiences tailored to various conditions and preferences.
