Mahindra Scorpio N Gets ADAS and New Z8T Trim, Prices Start at Rs 20.29 Lakh

Mahindra updates the Scorpio N for 2025 with a new Z8T trim and Level 2 ADAS on the Z8L variant. Prices start at ₹20.29 lakh, with up to 10 advanced safety features and new premium upgrades.

Mahindra has rolled out significant updates to the Scorpio N lineup in India as the SUV completes three years on the market. The 2025 model year brings the introduction of a new Z8T trim and the addition of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to the top-spec Z8L variant. With more than 2.5 lakh units already on Indian roads, these upgrades aim to keep the Scorpio N fresh and aligned with evolving customer demands.

The newly launched Z8T trim is positioned between the Z8 and Z8L variants, offering a more feature-rich option without going all the way to the top-end model. It comes loaded with several enhancements over the Z8, such as 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 12-speaker Sony audio system, ventilated front seats, electronic parking brake, auto-dimming IRVM, front parking sensors, a front camera, and a six-way power-adjustable driver seat. However, the Z8T is only available as a 7-seater and misses out on the ADAS safety suite.

On the other hand, Mahindra has introduced Level 2 ADAS features exclusively on the Z8L trim. This makes the Scorpio N one of the few ladder-frame SUVs in India to offer advanced driver assistance technology. The ADAS suite includes ten active safety features: Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Smart Pilot Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Assist, Speed Limit Assist, and Front Vehicle Start Alert. Notably, the latter two features are making their debut on a Mahindra internal combustion (IC) vehicle.

The Z8L with ADAS is available in both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations, and across a wide range of powertrains including petrol, diesel, manual, automatic, and 4WD options. This allows Mahindra to cater to different buyer preferences while offering high-end safety tech.
