Maserati MC20 Cielo: High Performance with Open-Top Style

The MC20 Cielo brings a convertible twist to Maserati’s mid-engine supercar, offering buyers an open-air driving experience without compromising on performance. Based on the MC20 coupe, the Cielo features the same 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 Nettuno engine, delivering 630 hp and 730 Nm of torque. The car does 0–100 km/h in a claimed 3.0 seconds, just a tenth of a second slower than the coupe due to the added weight of the retractable roof.

At 1,540 kg, the Cielo is 65 kg heavier than the coupe. The standout feature is its electrochromic glass roof, which can open or close in 12 seconds. Measuring 909 mm by 615 mm, the roof lets in natural light even when shut, adding to the sense of space in the cabin.

The Cielo shares its design, features, and customisation options with the coupe. For reference, the MC20 coupe was launched in India in 2023 with a starting price of Rs 3.69 crore.
