Mercedes-AMG GT 63 and GT 63 Pro are set to launch in India on June 27 with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, bold styling, enhanced aerodynamics, and performance-focused upgrades.

Mercedes-Benz is gearing up to launch the AMG GT Coupe in India on June 27, 2025. The performance-oriented model will be introduced in two versions — the GT 63 and GT 63 Pro. This marks the fourth product launch by the luxury carmaker this year, adding yet another high-end vehicle to its Indian lineup.
Engine and Performance
Both variants of the AMG GT Coupe will come equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine — a signature powerhouse across several AMG offerings. The GT 63 delivers 576 bhp and 800 Nm of torque, while the GT 63 Pro gets a power bump, producing 603 bhp and 850 Nm. Both variants can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. However, the GT 63 Pro gains an edge in the 0-200 km/h sprint, clocking 10.9 seconds — half a second faster than the GT 63. Top speeds differ slightly, with the GT 63 reaching 315 km/h and the GT 63 Pro topping out at 317 km/h.
Design and Aerodynamics

On the outside, both models showcase aggressive styling elements such as a fixed rear wing and prominent air intakes. The GT 63 comes equipped with performance-oriented aerodynamic enhancements, while the GT 63 Pro takes it a step further with larger aero components, including a redesigned front apron and active aerodynamic features. These upgrades help reduce lift by 30 kg at the front and 15 kg at the rear, significantly improving downforce and high-speed stability.
Advanced Braking System

The GT 63 rides on 21-inch alloy wheels and features yellow-painted brake callipers, while the GT 63 Pro upgrades to lightweight 21-inch forged wheels finished in a matte grey tone, along with high-performance ceramic composite brakes. These are the largest ceramic discs Mercedes-AMG currently offers, ensuring strong and fade-resistant braking during aggressive driving.
Interior and Features

Inside, both variants offer a 2+2 seating layout, echoing the design of the SL 55 AMG. The dashboard is centered around a vertical 11.9-inch infotainment touchscreen that runs the latest MBUX system, along with a fully digital instrument cluster. The cabin is crafted for sportiness and comfort, featuring AMG Performance seats and a steering wheel wrapped in a mix of Nappa leather and microfibre.
