MG launches the Windsor Exclusive Pro electric SUV at Rs 17.25 lakh with a 52.9 kWh battery and 449 km range. Offers premium features and a more affordable alternative to the top-spec Essence Pro.
MG Motor has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the launch of the Windsor Exclusive Pro, priced at Rs 17.25 lakh (ex-showroom). This new variant is a more affordable version of the Windsor Pro, now based on the mid-spec Exclusive trim instead of the top-end Essence. It also comes with a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option at Rs 12.24 lakh (ex-showroom) plus Rs 4.5 per kilometre for battery usage.
The Windsor Exclusive Pro continues to use the same 52.9 kWh battery pack found in the Essence Pro, delivering a certified range of up to 449 km under MIDC conditions. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the first week of June.
This new variant is available in three colour options—Pearl White, Starry Black and Turquoise Green—and rides on 18-inch dual-tone machined alloy wheels. It also features flush-fitting door handles and full LED lighting.
Inside, the Exclusive Pro gets a dual-tone Ivory and Black interior theme. A large 15.6-inch infotainment display takes centre stage on the dashboard, paired with a nine-speaker audio system. Other key features include MG’s i-SMART connected tech suite with over 80 connected features and 100+ AI voice commands, a 360-degree camera system, automatic climate control, and 135-degree reclining lounge seats for added comfort.
Compared to the range-topping Windsor Essence Pro, which is priced at Rs 18.09 lakh, the new Exclusive Pro is Rs 85,000 cheaper, making it a more accessible choice while still offering the same powertrain and many of the premium features.
The Windsor EV range now includes five trims:
- Excite: Rs 13.99 lakh or Rs 9.99 lakh + Rs 3.9/km (BaaS) – 38 kWh battery
- Exclusive: Rs 15.04 lakh or Rs 10.99 lakh + Rs 3.9/km (BaaS)
- Essence: Rs 16.14 lakh or Rs 11.99 lakh + Rs 3.9/km (BaaS)
- Exclusive Pro: Rs 17.25 lakh or Rs 12.24 lakh + Rs 4.5/km (BaaS) – 52.9 kWh battery
- Essence Pro: Rs 18.09 lakh or Rs 13.09 lakh + Rs 4.5/km (BaaS) – 52.9 kWh battery
Buyers of the Exclusive Pro variant will also benefit from a lifetime battery warranty (for the first owner) and MG’s 3-60 assured buyback plan, which guarantees 60% value retention after three years.
