MG ZS EV Gets Massive Price Cut of Up to ₹4.44 Lakh – 6th Anniversary Offer

To mark six years in the Indian market, JSW MG Motor has rolled out a significant price revision for the MG ZS EV, making the electric SUV more affordable than ever. With price cuts across the entire variant range, the ZS EV is now a stronger contender in the EV segment, especially against its rivals.

The biggest highlight of this announcement is the substantial ₹4.44 lakh reduction on the top-spec Essence variant, which now starts at ₹20.49 lakh, down from its earlier ex-showroom price of ₹24.93 lakh. Similarly, the Exclusive Plus variant sees a drop of ₹4.15 lakh and is now priced at ₹19.49 lakh. These aggressive price cuts bring the high-end variants well within reach for a broader set of buyers looking for a premium electric SUV experience.

The Excite Pro variant has also received a price cut of ₹48,000 and is now listed at ₹18.49 lakh, while the base Executive trim now starts at ₹16.75 lakh — a modest ₹13,000 lower than before. Although the reduction on the lower trims is relatively minor, the revisions overall indicate MG’s intent to strengthen the ZS EV’s value proposition in the fast-growing EV market.

In terms of equipment, the ZS EV continues to offer a 50.3 kWh prismatic cell battery pack that meets IP69K, ASIL-D, and UL2580 safety standards. It delivers a claimed range of 461 km per charge. The SUV is equipped with Level 2 ADAS features, a digital key, electronic parking brake, ESC, hill-hold control, rear disc brakes, and over 75 connected features. Additional touches like turn indicators integrated with DRLs and creep mode enhance daily usability.

MG has not specified how long this one-time special pricing offer will remain available, but it is expected to last through June or until stocks last. This pricing strategy not only celebrates MG’s six-year milestone in India but also appears to set the stage for its upcoming models.

Looking ahead, MG has plans to expand its lineup with new models such as the MG S5 SUV, the Cyberster electric sportscar, and the M9 electric MPV — both of which will be offered through MG’s premium Select retail network.
