Nissan Motor India is set to expand its product portfolio with the launch of two new models tailored for Indian consumers – a 7-seater B-MPV and a 5-seater C-segment SUV, beginning in FY25. These new offerings are part of Nissan’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the fast-growing Indian automotive market.
The 7-seater B-MPV, designed with Indian families in mind, will feature SUV-inspired styling complemented by a bold C-shaped front grille, sleek headlamps with LED DRLs, a muscular bonnet, roof rails, and a pronounced bumper with a wide air intake. Built to maximize interior comfort and space, the B-MPV aims to deliver practicality and a premium feel across all three rows of seating.

Following closely, the 5-seater C-SUV – set for launch in early FY26 – takes design inspiration from the iconic Nissan Patrol. It will be engineered to handle Indian terrains with ease, offering a high approach and departure angle, alongside robust SUV proportions and modern tech features.

In a further development, Nissan has confirmed a 7-seater variant of the C-SUV will also be introduced in India, expanding options in the highly competitive SUV space. Additionally, the company is developing an affordable electric vehicle (EV) to meet the evolving demands of Indian consumers and future mobility trends.
These new models will be locally produced at the Alliance JV plant in Chennai, aligning with Nissan’s strategy of “One Car, One World”, which supports both domestic sales and export operations. The company has set an ambitious target of achieving 100,000 units in combined annual domestic sales and exports from India.
By the next fiscal year, Nissan plans to offer a total of four models across the B, C, and D-SUV segments, underscoring its renewed focus on innovation, value, and expanding its footprint in the Indian automotive landscape.
