Renault is gearing up to launch the updated Triber MPV in India on July 23, marking the arrival of one of its two major facelifts planned for 2025—the other being the Kiger. The Triber, known for its flexible three-row seating and compact footprint, is set to receive notable cosmetic and feature upgrades to stay competitive in the sub-4m MPV space.

Spy shots of the Triber facelift have already offered a glimpse of the design changes. The updated model will sport a revised front grille, new LED DRL-integrated headlamps, a reshaped bumper with circular fog lamps, and tweaked air intakes. At the rear, the taillamps are expected to get a redesign, along with a new set of alloy wheels likely to be offered on higher trims.

While Renault has kept the interior largely under wraps, the facelift is expected to bring a refreshed cabin experience. The current model’s 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster may return, potentially with interface improvements. Other features like wireless charging, PM2.5 air filter, and the practical three-row seat configuration are expected to remain.

Under the hood, the 2025 Triber facelift is likely to retain the tried-and-tested 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, available with both a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox. The more powerful 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit from the Kiger hasn’t been confirmed for the Triber yet. Renault will also continue to offer a CNG option, available as a dealer-fitted kit.

While the facelift doesn’t bring mechanical changes, the design enhancements and potential feature additions could make the Triber a stronger value proposition in the affordable MPV segment. Pricing and variant-wise feature distribution will be revealed closer to launch.
