Rolls-Royce has launched the Spectre Black Badge in India at ₹9.50 crore. It’s the brand’s most powerful production car yet, with 650 bhp, 1,075 Nm torque, and a range of up to 530 km. Bookings now open in Chennai and Delhi.

Rolls-Royce has launched the Spectre Black Badge in India, with a starting price of ₹9.50 crore (ex-showroom). This marks the arrival of the brand’s most powerful production car yet and the first all-electric model to receive the Black Badge treatment. Bookings are currently open at the company’s showrooms in Chennai and New Delhi.
This new variant builds upon the standard Spectre, which was introduced in the Indian market in January 2024 at ₹7.5 crore. While the original Spectre represented Rolls-Royce’s first step into electric mobility, the Black Badge version adds a sharper, more dynamic edge to the ultra-luxury grand tourer. It also comes with a higher degree of personalisation and mechanical upgrades aimed at enhancing driving performance.

Powering the Spectre Black Badge is a dual-motor setup—one motor on each axle—producing a combined 650 bhp and 1,075 Nm of peak torque. A 102 kWh battery pack provides the car with a claimed range of 493 to 530 km on a single charge, depending on conditions. Despite its weight and size, this electric two-door grand tourer accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds. New driving modes such as ‘Infinity Mode’ allow access to the car’s full performance potential, while ‘Spirited Mode’ acts as a launch control system for more responsive acceleration.
Rolls-Royce has also re-engineered the chassis for improved dynamics. Updates include stiffer dampers, better roll stabilisation, and increased steering weight. These changes aim to deliver a more engaging and confident driving experience, making the Spectre Black Badge not just luxurious but also rewarding to drive.

Visually, the car carries signature Black Badge styling cues, including darkened finishes for the Pantheon grille, Spirit of Ecstasy emblem, badging, window surrounds, and door handles. Customers can further personalise the vehicle with 23-inch forged alloy wheels, available in part-polished or fully blacked-out designs. A new and exclusive feature allows owners to customise the grille’s backplate by projecting a colour of their choice onto the slats—a first for any Rolls-Royce model.

Inside, the cabin features a striking Illuminated Fascia embedded with over 5,500 LED ‘stars’ of different sizes and brightness levels, all set against a piano black background. The infinity symbol, exclusive to Black Badge models, is also part of this display. The digital instrument cluster can be personalised with five vivid colour themes—Vivid Grellow, Neon Nights, Cyan Fire, Ultraviolet, and Synth Wave. The use of carbon fibre and metal trim elements adds a sporty and contemporary feel to the otherwise traditional Rolls-Royce luxury interior.

The Spectre Black Badge also debuts Rolls-Royce’s new ‘Spirit’ infotainment and control system, which is designed to offer an intuitive digital experience for both driver and passenger. It supports advanced connectivity and ensures seamless operation of all in-car features.
At ₹9.50 crore, the Spectre Black Badge is priced ₹1.5 crore higher than the standard Spectre, which currently retails at ₹8 crore (ex-showroom). This exclusive variant will be available in extremely limited numbers, with each unit tailored to the buyer’s specifications through Rolls-Royce’s bespoke programme. Availability will depend on build slots and individual configuration timelines.
