Royal Enfield’s upcoming electric motorcycles, the Flying Flea C6 and S6 Scrambler, have been spotted testing in Leh. Expected to launch in early 2026, both models are based on a new electric platform with a focus on premium urban riding.

Royal Enfield continues its high-altitude testing spree, and this time it’s not just the Himalayan 750 and Electric that have surfaced. The upcoming Flying Flea electric motorcycles were recently spotted on test runs in Leh, giving us a closer look at what’s in store for the brand’s future in the EV space.
Two variants were seen undergoing tests — the Flying Flea C6 and the Flying Flea S6 Scrambler. Both models looked very close to production-ready and are based on a completely new electric platform internally codenamed the “L platform.” These bikes were first showcased at EICMA 2024, and this is the first time both versions have been spotted testing together in real-world conditions.
The Flying Flea C6 carries a neo-retro design theme, while the S6 adopts a scrambler style with key differences such as a high-mounted front fender, an offset instrument console, and a different handlebar setup. While the C6 was seen with alloy wheels wrapped in road-biased tyres, the S6 features spoke wheels with knobby off-road tyres, giving each bike a distinct character and purpose.

Though technical specifications remain under wraps, Royal Enfield is aiming for spirited, engaging performance paired with a premium build quality. Lightweight construction and the use of metals like aluminium are expected to help these bikes remain agile and city-friendly. Both the C6 and S6 are compact by Royal Enfield standards but will be positioned as premium offerings, likely priced between the brand’s current 450cc and 650cc models.

Interestingly, the C6 is set to arrive first, with a launch expected in February 2026. The S6 Scrambler is likely to follow roughly six months later. These motorcycles are being designed with international markets in mind, but they will be launched in India as well.
Though the Flying Flea C6 has already been revealed in concept form, the S6 remains under heavy camouflage, suggesting that Royal Enfield is not ready to disclose its final design just yet. Still, visible elements like the overall proportions, battery housing, and upright ergonomics point to an electric motorcycle platform that focuses on ease of use and urban practicality.
While the exact battery and motor specifications are yet to be disclosed, the range is expected to hover around 100km on a full charge — ideal for city commutes and short weekend rides.
