Royal Enfield is set to introduce the updated version of its Hunter 350 motorcycle on April 26, 2025. The official unveiling will take place during the HunterHood festival, a one-day cultural event being held concurrently in Mumbai and New Delhi. The festival will showcase various street culture elements such as art, music, dance, skateboarding, and fashion, with the Hunter 350 positioned as the central highlight.

Subtle Upgrades for 2025

The 2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will receive a mid-cycle update, focusing primarily on hardware and cosmetic changes while retaining its existing engine configuration. A key update is expected in the rear suspension setup, which has been a point of criticism in the current model. The revised twin-shock absorbers are likely to incorporate progressive springs aimed at improving ride comfort and handling, particularly on uneven surfaces. This could also result in a minor change in seat height.

In terms of aesthetics, the motorcycle is expected to feature new paint options and updated graphics, complementing the current palette that includes shades like Dapper White, Rebel Red, Dapper G, Rebel Black, Dapper Grey, Rebel Blue, Dapper O and Factory Black.

The new model is expected to replace the halogen headlamp with a circular LED unit, bringing it in line with other updated Royal Enfield models in the 350cc range. This change is also aimed at enhancing night-time visibility. Additionally, the USB-A port may be swapped for a USB Type-C port. Minor updates to the instrument cluster are also anticipated, possibly adding new functionalities.

Powertrain to Remain Unchanged

The updated Hunter 350 will continue to be powered by the same 349cc, single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled J-series engine. It delivers 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a five-speed gearbox. No changes are expected in terms of engine performance.

Price and Positioning

Currently, the Hunter 350 is the most affordable model in Royal Enfield’s 350cc portfolio, with prices ranging from Rs 1.50 lakh to Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming updates may lead to a price increase of approximately Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000.

Sales and Market Relevance

Since its launch in 2022, the Hunter 350 has been a consistent performer for Royal Enfield and recently crossed the five lakh unit sales milestone. Its accessible pricing and urban-focused design have contributed to its popularity, especially among younger riders.
