Skoda Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupe RS Unveiled Globally with Larger Battery, More Power, and Improved Range

Skoda has unveiled the updated RS variants of the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe, following the debut of the facelifted models in January 2025. These upgraded electric SUVs come with a larger battery, improved performance, and an extended driving range, alongside design updates that enhance their appeal in the EV market.

Skoda has officially taken the wraps off the performance-focused Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupe RS, expanding its electric SUV lineup with two new flagship variants. These RS models not only bring a sharper design and upgraded interiors but also pack a larger battery and more power compared to the standard Enyaq range.

More Power, Better Range

One of the major upgrades in both the Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupe RS is the larger 84kWh battery pack, a step up from the 63kWh and 82kWh units found in the regular versions. This upgrade enables the Enyaq RS to deliver a WLTP-certified range of up to 562km, while the Coupe RS offers a slightly higher range of 568km.

The dual-motor setup sends power to all four wheels and generates 340hp, making these the most powerful Skoda Enyaq variants to date. Acceleration from 0 to 100km/h is claimed at 5.4 seconds, which is 1.3 seconds quicker than the standard AWD variants. The battery supports fast charging up to 185kW, allowing a 10% to 80% charge in just 26 minutes. For slower home charging, an 11kW AC charger will fully charge the battery in around 8 hours and 30 minutes. The RS models also offer bidirectional charging capabilities, enabling the battery to power other devices or serve as a backup energy source at home.

Sporty Exterior Upgrades

On the outside, both RS models get distinct styling cues that separate them from their standard siblings. These include a sportier front bumper design, sleeker LED headlights, and several blacked-out elements such as the Skoda and RS badges, mirror caps, window trims, and winglets.

The Enyaq RS and Coupe RS ride on large alloy wheels—20 inches as standard, with optional 21-inch wheels available. A new standout Mamba Green paint option is also introduced, exclusive to the RS lineup. However, the added sportier bodywork slightly increases the drag coefficient—0.251 for the Enyaq RS and 0.239 for the Coupe RS—making them a bit less aerodynamically efficient than their standard versions.

Interior and Features

Inside, buyers can choose between two distinct RS-themed cabin finishes: RS Lounge and RS Suite. The RS Lounge features a mix of Suedia microfibre and faux leather with lime green stitching and piping. Meanwhile, the RS Suite opts for a more sophisticated look with leather and faux leather upholstery accented by grey stitching and piping.

Standard features across both interiors include a 3-spoke RS steering wheel, integrated headrest RS sports seats, and a driver’s seat with massage function. The overall feature list remains consistent with the standard Enyaq range, retaining Skoda’s signature focus on practicality and clever design details.
