Skoda Auto India has officially launched the second-generation Kodiaq SUV in the Indian market. Priced at ₹46.89 lakh for the Sportline variant and ₹48.69 lakh for the top-end Selection L&K variant (ex-showroom), the new Kodiaq enters the premium SUV segment with an array of design enhancements and upgraded features. Bookings are now open across the country, with deliveries scheduled to begin from May 2, 2025.

Engine and Performance:
The 2025 Skoda Kodiaq continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, now tuned to deliver 204 bhp—an increase of nearly 14 bhp over its predecessor—while retaining the same torque output of 320 Nm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT), and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system is offered as standard. Skoda claims an ARAI-certified mileage of 14.86 kmpl for the new Kodiaq.
Exterior Design Updates:
The latest Kodiaq adopts a more aggressive and refined styling approach. Key updates include:
- New LED DRLs that blend into a restyled front grille
- Revised bonnet and functional air vents in the front bumper
- Split headlamp design retained from the earlier model
- Newly-designed 18-inch alloy wheels for the L&K variant
- Sportline trim with blacked-out elements including the grille, D-pillar, wing mirrors, and rear bumper
- Redesigned C-shaped taillights connected by a light bar
- Overall length increased by 59 mm, with unchanged width, height, and wheelbase
