Suzuki Access 125 Ride Connect TFT Edition Launched in India at Rs 1.02 Lakh

Suzuki has launched a new variant of its best-selling scooter, the Access 125, now equipped with a 4.2-inch fully-digital TFT display. This new variant, called the Ride Connect TFT Edition, is priced at Rs 1,01,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it the new top-spec offering in the Access lineup.

With this addition, the Access 125 range now includes four variants, starting from Rs 84,441 and going up to Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom). The TFT variant costs Rs 6,800 more than the previous top model, the Ride Connect Edition, which comes with an LCD display.

Key Feature Upgrades

The highlight of the new variant is the 4.2-inch colour TFT instrument console that supports Bluetooth connectivity. The digital dashboard offers features like:

  • Call, SMS, and WhatsApp alerts
  • Turn-by-turn navigation
  • Speed exceeding alert
  • Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)
  • Weather updates
  • Phone battery level indicator

The TFT unit also features Day and Night modes for better readability in different lighting conditions. However, Suzuki hasn’t confirmed onboard navigation in this version.

New Colour Option

Alongside the new TFT display, Suzuki has introduced a new Pearl Mat Aqua Silver colour to the Access 125 lineup. This shade resembles a subtle sky blue tone and adds a fresh look to the scooter. The new colour is exclusive to the Ride Connect TFT Edition, while existing colours like Matte Black, Matte Blue, Pearl White, and Solid Ice Green continue to be available.

No Mechanical Changes

Visually and mechanically, the scooter remains unchanged. It is powered by the same 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is now compliant with OBD2 norms. The engine produces 8.3 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm, and Suzuki claims a fuel efficiency of 46 kmpl.

Additional practical features include:

  • Two front storage pockets with USB charging ports
  • Spacious floorboard
  • Enhanced under-seat storage

The new TFT variant is priced at Rs 2,226 more than the Honda Activa 125, which also recently received a TFT display update to meet new emission norms.
