TATA.ev, India’s largest electric car manufacturer, has announced the installation of 10 new high-speed MegaChargers across important routes and cities, marking a major step in enhancing the country’s EV charging network. Developed in collaboration with ChargeZone and Statiq, these chargers are part of TATA.ev’s larger plan to expand India’s EV ecosystem and increase charging points to 400,000 by 2027.

Fast Charging for Long-Distance Travel

These new MegaChargers, developed in partnership with ChargeZone and Statiq, are located at major highways and urban hubs. Each site includes chargers of at least 120 kW capacity, with some locations offering up to 400 kW fast charging. These setups allow users to gain up to 150 km of range in just 15 minutes.

TATA.ev owners will also get benefits like up to 25% lower charging tariffs, priority support, and access to chargers via the iRA.ev app. Select locations even have on-site personnel to assist with charging.

Mumbai – Ahmedabad Highway
Three MegaChargers have been set up in partnership with ChargeZone:

  • Shreenath Food Hub, Vadodara (400 kW, charges up to 6 EVs simultaneously)
  • Shanti Complex, Vapi
  • Hotel Xpress Inn, Ghodbunder

These are located 150–200 km apart and offer a fast and premium charging experience for highway travelers.

Delhi – Jaipur Highway
In partnership with Statiq, four stations are now live along this key corridor:

  • SS Plaza, Sector 47, Gurugram
  • Hotel Old Rao, Kaprivas
  • Asli Pappu Dhaba, Hamzapur
  • Hotel Highway King, Shahpura

Spaced every 60 km, each station offers 120 kW charging with dedicated bays and easy access to local dining spots.

Pune – Nashik Highway
One MegaCharger has been installed at Akash Misal House, Rajgurunagar. This 120 kW charger, developed with ChargeZone, supports smooth travel between the two major Maharashtra cities.

Bengaluru
A fast-charging station has been set up at Monk Mansion, Electronic City, in partnership with Statiq. Located near major IT parks and residential areas, it caters to city commuters and offers amenities like 24/7 cafes, Wi-Fi, and retail outlets.

Udaipur
In Udaipur, a 120 kW MegaCharger is now operational at Ramee Royal Resort. This location is ideal for both tourists and locals, featuring comfortable lounges, cafes, Wi-Fi, and restrooms.

TATA.ev’s Push for Better EV Access

According to TATA.ev, these new MegaChargers are just the beginning. The brand plans to install more across highways to remove charging anxiety for EV users.

TATA.ev’s collaboration with partners like ChargeZone and Statiq also brings added tech features like RFID-based access and automatic charging.

With these steps, TATA.ev is making EV travel more practical and helping build the kind of fast, reliable charging network that EV users can depend on.
