Tata Harrier EV QWD Launched in India: Prices Start at Rs. 28.99 Lakh

Tata Motors has announced the prices for the Harrier.ev Quad Wheel Drive variants in India, starting at ₹28.99 lakh. The dual-motor AWD electric SUV delivers 396 PS, 504 Nm torque, and 0–100 kmph in 6.3 seconds.

Tata Motors has announced the prices for the Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) variants of its all-electric Harrier.ev SUV, with the range starting at ₹28.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This addition expands the Harrier.ev lineup with an all-wheel-drive configuration, offering a higher level of performance within the model range. Bookings for the Harrier EV will open on July 2, 2025, across Tata dealerships and online platforms in the domestic market.

Earlier, the company had revealed pricing for the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) variants, which are priced between ₹21.49 lakh and ₹27.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The QWD versions are equipped with a dual-motor setup generating a combined output of 396 PS — 158 PS from the front motor and 238 PS from the rear — along with 504 Nm of torque. Tata Motors claims the Harrier.ev QWD can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.3 seconds.

The Harrier.ev QWD also comes equipped with multiple off-road and performance-oriented features, including Boost Mode, six terrain modes, and Off-Road Assist. With this new drivetrain, Tata is not only targeting electric SUV buyers but also aiming to challenge traditional high-performance ICE-powered SUVs in terms of capability and driving experience.

Safety continues to be a strong highlight of the Harrier.ev. It recently received a full 5-star rating in Bharat NCAP crash tests, scoring a perfect 32/32 for adult occupant protection and 45/49 for child occupant protection — placing it among the safest SUVs on Indian roads.

Along with its performance and safety, Tata is offering several tech-forward features. The Harrier.ev boasts a certified MIDC range of 627 km and supports fast charging that can add up to 250 km of range in just 15 minutes. It also comes with a lifetime warranty on the battery pack, offering peace of mind to EV buyers.
