Toyota has revised the pricing of its Camry sedan in India, increasing the cost by Rs. 50,000. Initially launched in December 2024 at Rs. 48 lakh (ex-showroom), the Camry is available in a single variant. Following the latest price adjustment, it now retails at Rs. 48.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, customers opting for the Platinum White Pearl exterior shade will incur an extra cost of Rs. 15,000.

The ninth-generation Camry is powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine combined with a hybrid motor, together delivering 230bhp. The hybrid system is paired with an e-CVT gearbox that sends power to the front wheels. Toyota claims the model delivers a mileage of 25.49 kmpl.

Design-wise, the updated Camry reflects Toyota’s global styling language, showcasing a refined evolution of its predecessor. The front end features a redesigned headlamp setup seamlessly merging with a black trim strip that spans the width of the fascia. A body-coloured honeycomb-pattern grille stretches into the lower bumper, adding a sporty flair. While the overall silhouette stays familiar, the sloping roofline and larger, more sharply angled rear quarter glass panels lend a sleeker appearance.

Inside, the cabin sports a refreshed design highlighted by a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system. The feature list includes a nine-speaker JBL sound system, ventilated seats at the front and rear, a 360-degree camera setup, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a head-up display, and a three-zone automatic climate control system.

The front seats offer 10-way power adjustment with both heating and ventilation. Rear occupants benefit from reclining and ventilated seats, controls integrated into the centre armrest, a retractable rear sunshade, and an electric sunroof that enhances the overall luxury experience.

Under the hood, the Camry continues with its 2.5-litre petrol engine mated to Toyota’s fifth-generation hybrid system, THS 5. This configuration generates a total output of 230hp and delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 25 km/l, with power transmitted via an e-CVT unit.
