VinFast is showcasing its VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs across major malls in 11 Indian cities ahead of their official launch. Visitors can experience the EVs’ design, tech, and range firsthand as the Vietnamese automaker prepares for local production.

VinFast is stepping up its India entry with a large-scale public display campaign for its upcoming electric SUVs — the VF 6 and VF 7. After making their debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi, the Vietnamese EV maker is now exhibiting both models across prominent shopping malls in 11 major cities across the country.
The showcase began on June 21 and includes high-footfall locations like Select City Walk and Pacific Mall in Delhi, Ambience Mall in Gurugram, and Lulu Malls in Kochi, Lucknow, Bengaluru, and Trivandrum. Other participating cities include Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Vijayawada, Chennai, and Pune. Through these public exhibitions, VinFast aims to build strong visibility and engagement with prospective Indian buyers ahead of its official launch.
At these mall showcases, visitors can experience both EVs up close — including features like panoramic sunroofs, full-width LED light signatures, large touchscreen displays, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The hands-on experience is meant to familiarize consumers with the design, technology, and premium character of the brand.
The VF 6 comes with a 59.6 kWh battery and a single motor producing 204 hp and 310 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.89 seconds and has a WLTP-certified range of up to 480 km. Meanwhile, the larger VF 7 uses a 75.3 kWh battery and offers a range of up to 450 km on a single charge.

VinFast has already started construction of its manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu, with production activities expected to commence in the coming weeks. The company is also working to establish a nationwide support and service network, with partners such as Global Assure.
Commenting on the initiative, Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, said, “Following the positive reception at the Bharat Mobility Expo, we’re excited to bring the VF 7 and VF 6 closer to Indian consumers. Showcasing them at major shopping centres offers a valuable opportunity for customers and EV enthusiasts to directly experience our electric SUVs and witness VinFast’s pioneering role in advancing sustainable mobility in India.”
