Volkswagen has officially launched the all-new Tiguan R-Line in India, priced at an introductory ₹48,99,900 (ex-showroom). This premium SUV is available as a single, fully-loaded variant and will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). Deliveries are set to commence on April 23, 2025.

Under the hood, the Tiguan R-Line is powered by a 2.0-liter TSI EVO petrol engine, delivering 204 PS and 320 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission and Volkswagen’s intelligent 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system, ensuring responsive performance and stability across various driving conditions.

The Tiguan R-Line boasts a striking design characterized by LED headlamps connected by an Illuminated Lightline and sporty ‘R’ themed details. Muscular front and rear shoulder lines enhance its bold stance, while rounder wheel arches and 19-inch Coventry alloy wheels add elegance to its sharp character. The ‘R’ badging on the front doors further distinguishes this model from the standard Tiguan.

Inside, the SUV offers a luxurious cabin equipped with massage seats featuring adjustable lumbar support, a 3-zone Climatronic system, and customizable ambient lighting with 30 color options. The dashboard houses a 15-inch infotainment display and a digital instrument cluster, providing a modern and intuitive user experience. Additional amenities include a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging for two smartphones, and the IDA voice assistant for seamless control of various functions.

Safety is paramount in the Tiguan R-Line, which comes equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) offering 21 advanced features.
