
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has announced plans to visit India later this year following a telephonic conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The two leaders discussed opportunities for collaboration in technology and innovation, reinforcing the growing strategic relationship between India and the United States.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Musk said, “It was an honour to speak with PM Modi. I am looking forward to visiting India later this year!”

His statement came in response to a post by PM Modi, who highlighted their discussion on various topics, including those previously explored during their meeting in Washington DC earlier this year.
On Friday (April 18) PM Narendra Modi wrote on X, “Spoke to @elonmusk and talked about various issues, including the topics we covered during our meeting in Washington DC earlier this year. We discussed the immense potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation.”
“India remains committed to advancing our partnerships with the US in these domains,” he added.
