Google Pixel 10 series to reportedly launch on August 20, 2025, with pre-orders starting the same day. Leaks reveal the Pixel 10 Pro prototype featuring Tensor G5 chipset, 16GB RAM, 120Hz AMOLED display, and a triple rear camera setup.

Google is preparing to launch its highly anticipated Pixel 10 series this August, continuing its recent trend of earlier releases. Traditionally, Google has unveiled its flagship Pixel phones in October, but the Pixel 9 series arrived in mid-August last year, and the Pixel 10 lineup is expected to follow a similar timeline.
The official launch event, titled “Made by Google,” is scheduled for August 20, 2025, according to Android Headlines. Alongside the launch, pre-orders for the Pixel 10 series will begin on the same day, with units expected to reach customers and retail stores by August 28. This means that Google is maintaining a fast rollout pace, giving enthusiasts just over a week between the announcement and product availability.

Recent leaks have revealed key details about the Pixel 10 Pro, including a prototype that surfaced on Chinese social media and messaging platforms. The prototype carries the codename “blazer” and is marked as “DVT1.0,” indicating it is a Design Verification Test model—part of the development process to ensure the phone’s design functions as intended.

Under the hood, the Pixel 10 Pro will feature Google’s Tensor G5 chipset. Despite some confusion in leaks mentioning a 5nm process, the Tensor G5 is expected to be built on TSMC’s 3nm architecture, marking a significant performance and efficiency boost. The processor configuration reportedly (via Mystic Leaks) includes a mix of Cortex-X4, Cortex-A725, and Cortex-A520 cores, designed to balance power and battery life.

The phone will come with 16GB of RAM and at least 256GB of internal storage, with higher storage options likely available. The display is expected to be a 2,410 x 1,080 pixels AMOLED panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, delivering sharp visuals and fluid interaction.
Photography enthusiasts can look forward to a familiar triple rear camera setup. The primary sensor is rumored to be a 50MP Samsung GNV unit, complemented by a 48MP Sony IMX858 sensor for ultra-wide shots and telephoto zoom capabilities. The front camera details remain consistent with previous models, though specifics are yet to be fully confirmed.
The Pixel 10 series will ship with Android 16, offering the latest software features and improvements straight out of the box. This update is expected to enhance user experience, security, and system performance.
With the launch less than three months away, more details about the Pixel 10 series are likely to emerge, including pricing, variant options, and potential exclusive features.
