Poco is gearing up to launch the standard Poco F7 globally, following the earlier debut of the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra. According to a report by SmartPrix, the Poco F7 is expected to launch globally between June 17 and June 19, with the Indian release likely to take place within the same timeframe.
Poco F7: Expected Specifications
Display, Performance, and Software
The Poco F7 is tipped to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which was recently introduced in China. It is likely to feature a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. A metal frame is expected, giving the device a premium build.

Under the hood, the phone may be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It will likely run HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15 out of the box.
Camera and Additional Features
The Poco F7 is expected to include a dual rear camera setup, led by a 50MP primary sensor and supported by an 8MP secondary lens. A 20MP front camera is also anticipated for selfies and video calls.
Additional features may include an IR blaster and IP68/IP69 certification for water and dust resistance, enhancing its durability.

Battery and Charging
One of the main highlights could be the battery. The global variant is expected to come with a 6,550mAh battery, while the Indian variant may feature a larger 7,550mAh cell. Both versions are said to support 90W wired fast charging, ensuring quick top-ups despite the larger battery capacity.
Position in Poco’s Lineup
Once launched, the Poco F7 will join the F7 Pro and F7 Ultra, which made their debut in March across select global markets. The F7 Pro comes equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Both feature 50MP Light Fusion 800 main cameras, with the Ultra adding a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2.5x optical zoom.
In comparison, the standard Poco F7 offers a slightly toned-down camera system but gains attention for its large battery, high refresh rate display, and the latest Snapdragon platform. With its launch expected between June 17 and June 19, Poco is likely aiming to expand its presence in the high-performance smartphone segment — especially in markets like India, where battery capacity is a major selling point.
