Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro launched with 200MP cameras, Snapdragon chipsets, OLED displays, and up to 100W fast charging. Both phones offer advanced AI features and go on sale in Europe from May 22.

Honor has introduced its new mid-range lineup — the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro — at a global launch event in Paris. These new smartphones bring a focus on AI-enhanced photography and strong hardware, aiming to deliver both performance and creative capabilities.
AI Meets Imaging in Honor’s Latest Series
The Honor 400 and 400 Pro mark the return of high-resolution cameras in the brand’s number series. Both phones pack a 200MP main rear camera with advanced AI features and a 50MP front camera for high-quality selfies. The rear camera setup on the standard model includes a 12MP ultra-wide lens, while the Pro variant adds a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

AI tools like “AI Eraser,” reflection removal, and image-to-video generation are integrated into both devices, powered by Google Cloud’s Veo model. The software can merge up to nine photos into a single image for dynamic storytelling.
Displays and Performance
The Honor 400 features a 6.55-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 1264×2736 pixels. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 5000 nits peak HDR brightness, and 3840Hz PWM dimming for reduced eye strain.

The Honor 400 Pro upgrades to a 6.7-inch quad-curved OLED screen with 2800×1280 resolution, keeping the same brightness and refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Honor 400 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Pro model is powered by the flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, along with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. Both phones are designed to handle gaming, multitasking, and AI tasks with ease.
Battery and Charging
Both models come with a 5300mAh silicon-carbon battery rated for 1200 charge cycles. The Honor 400 supports 66W fast charging and reaches 44% in 15 minutes. The Pro version boosts this to 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Honor claims the battery will retain over 80% of its capacity even after four years of use.
Software and AI Integration
Both devices run on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0 and will receive six years of Android and security updates. They also include AI-powered features like AI Summary, AI Subtitles, Deepfake Detection, and Magic Portal. Google’s Gemini assistant is built-in for smarter productivity and contextual support.
Build and Connectivity
The Honor 400 is 7.3mm thick and weighs 184g. It carries an IP65 rating for splash resistance. The Pro model is more rugged with IP68/IP69 ratings, weighs 205g, and is 8.1mm thick.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, stereo speakers, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Honor 400 Pro also supports Wi-Fi 7 for faster and more stable wireless connections.

Pricing and Availability
The Honor 400 is priced at €499 / £399.99 for the 12GB + 256GB model and €549 / £449 for the 12GB + 512GB variant. The Honor 400 Pro comes in a single 12GB + 512GB configuration priced at €799 / £699.
Both smartphones are available starting May 22 via honor.com and other retail channels across the UK and select European markets. Color options include Desert Gold, Lunar Grey, and Midnight Black for the Honor 400, while the Pro variant is offered in Lunar Grey and Midnight Black.
