HONOR X70 5G will launch in China on July 15 with a massive 8300mAh battery, 80W wired and wireless charging, 120Hz display, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip.

HONOR is all set to unveil its next mid-range smartphone — the HONOR X70 5G — in China on July 15, and the device is already making headlines thanks to one standout feature: an enormous 8300mAh silicon-carbon battery, the largest ever in a smartphone to date.
This next-generation battery tech builds upon the innovation seen earlier this year in the HONOR Power, but the X70 takes it a step further with support for 80W wired charging, and notably, 80W wireless charging for its top-end 512GB variant. The combination of ultra-fast charging and a massive battery could set a new benchmark in battery performance for mid-range smartphones.
In terms of design and display, the HONOR X70 is expected to feature a 6.79-inch 1.5K screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a balance between smooth visuals and battery efficiency. Under the hood, it is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC, paired with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.

The phone will run MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15, continuing HONOR’s push to keep its software experience on par with competitors. On the camera front, it is said to come with a 50MP rear sensor with OIS and an 8MP front camera, expected to meet the needs of everyday users and social media creators alike.
The X70 will reportedly be available in two models — a standard version weighing 193g with 7.7mm thickness and a slightly heavier wireless charging variant at 199g and 7.9mm thickness. Both versions will include USB Type-C audio, dual SIM support, and a full range of connectivity options including 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.
Buyers will be able to choose from four color options — white, blue, black, and red, giving the phone a stylish appeal across different preferences.
We should know more details, including official pricing, when the HONOR X70 goes official next week.
