HONOR is gearing up to launch its new mid-range 5G smartphone — the HONOR X9c — in India on July 7. The company has officially confirmed that the phone will be available in two colour options, Titanium Black and Jade Cyan, and will be offered in a single configuration with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Sales begin on July 12, exclusively through Amazon.in.

The HONOR X9c 5G promises a premium design and solid performance backed by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset built on the 4nm process, paired with the Adreno 710 GPU. It runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15 out of the box. The device is also IP65-rated for dust and water resistance and features stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor for added convenience.

One of the standout features is its 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display that supports a 1.5K resolution (2700 x 1224 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen offers up to 4000 nits of peak brightness, HDR10 support, 10-bit colour depth, and 3840Hz PWM dimming for reduced eye strain.

In terms of photography, the HONOR X9c 5G sports a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 108MP main sensor (Samsung HM6) with OIS and EIS for stable shots, accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16MP front camera housed in a centered punch-hole.

Powering the phone is a massive 6600mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging, promising long-lasting usage with minimal downtime. Other features include USB Type-C audio, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and 5G SA/NSA connectivity.

More details on pricing and launch offers are expected at the official unveiling on July 7.
