Moto G96 5G is expected to launch soon with a 6.67-inch 144Hz curved pOLED display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, 50MP Sony Lytia camera, 32MP front camera, 5500mAh battery, and 68W fast charging.

Motorola is preparing to introduce a new addition to its G-series lineup with the Moto G96 5G. Leaked press renders and early details suggest the phone will feature a stylish design and solid specifications aimed at the mid-range segment. It is expected to come in four Pantone-curated colour options: Cattleya Orchid, Dresden Blue, Greener Pastures, and Ashleigh Blue. All variants are likely to sport a vegan leather finish for a premium in-hand feel.
The Moto G96 5G is said to offer a 6.67-inch curved pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 10-bit colour depth, promising smooth visuals and vibrant colours. Powering the device could be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. Although not the latest chip in the lineup, it should provide efficient performance for daily tasks. The phone is expected to be paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, the phone might include a 50MP main camera using the Sony Lytia LYT-700C sensor with optical image stabilization. This could be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera that also supports macro photography. For selfies, a 32MP front-facing camera is likely.
The Moto G96 5G is expected to pack a 5500mAh battery and support 68W fast charging. It may also feature stereo speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos, delivering immersive sound for media and games. The expected price in India for the 12GB + 256GB variant is around Rs. 22,990. Details regarding availability in other markets are still unknown, but more information is likely to surface closer to the launch.
