Motorola has confirmed that the moto g96 5G will launch in India on July 9, following a series of teasers. The upcoming mid-range smartphone is expected to bring a mix of premium features at a competitive price point, with a design inspired by Pantone-validated colour finishes.
The moto g96 5G will be offered in shades like Ashleigh Blue, Greener Pastures, Cattleya Orchid, and Dresden Blue, highlighting Motorola’s focus on unique and expressive colour options.
On the hardware front, the smartphone is confirmed to feature a 6.67-inch 3D curved pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, a capable processor aimed at delivering efficient performance for daily tasks and gaming.
Camera specifications include a 50MP main rear camera with Sony’s LYT-700C sensor, which is expected to offer improved low-light and HDR capabilities. The setup will also include an 8MP ultra-wide secondary lens. On the front, users will get a 32MP selfie camera, making it a well-rounded setup for photography enthusiasts.
Motorola is also focusing on durability, with the device carrying an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance — a notable feature in this segment.
