Nothing Headphones (1) specs have leaked ahead of the July 1 launch. The over-ear headphones feature 40mm KEF-tuned drivers, up to 80 hours of battery life, ANC support, and a premium design.

Nothing’s upcoming launch on July 1 is shaping up to be a major one. Alongside the much-anticipated Phone (3), the company will also unveil its first over-ear headphones — the Nothing Headphones (1). Multiple renders and live images have already surfaced, offering an early look at Nothing’s bold design approach. Now, tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed the specifications, giving us a clearer picture of what to expect from the brand’s debut over-ear audio product.
These will mark Nothing’s first entry into the premium over-ear headphone space, and the specs suggest a strong focus on both design and audio performance. The headphones are said to weigh 329 grams, making them heavier than Sony’s WH-1000XM6 (252g), but still lighter than the Apple AirPods Max, which come in at 384g. Notably, Nothing has claimed that these headphones are being built to outperform the AirPods Max — a bold claim, considering Apple’s flagship headset.

The Nothing Headphones (1) will feature 40mm dynamic drivers, tuned in partnership with British audio brand KEF. KEF is well-known in the audiophile community for its high-end speakers and innovative acoustic engineering. This collaboration suggests that Nothing is aiming for a more refined and premium sound experience, in line with its minimalist design philosophy.
In terms of battery life, Nothing claims some impressive numbers. With active noise cancellation (ANC) turned off, users can expect up to 80 hours of playback time. With ANC switched on, that drops to around 35 hours when using AAC codec. For users listening via LDAC, battery life is slightly reduced, with up to 54 hours without ANC and 30 hours with ANC.

While Nothing has not officially announced the pricing yet, leaks suggest the Nothing Headphones (1) could be priced at $309 in the US (roughly ₹26,400), £299 in the UK (around ₹35,100), and €299 in select European markets (approximately ₹29,900). As for India, the pricing remains unconfirmed, but early speculation hints that the headphones may launch at around ₹20,000, positioning them competitively in the premium segment.
