Nothing Phone 3 spotted on BIS, indicating an imminent India launch. Expected to feature Snapdragon flagship chipset, triple cameras, 6.77″ LTPO AMOLED display, and Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15.

Nothing’s next flagship smartphone appears to be on track for launch, with signs now pointing toward an imminent India debut. The upcoming Nothing Phone 3 has been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, a clear indication that the device may arrive in the Indian market shortly.
As per a Smartprix report, the device carries the model number A024 and is codenamed “Metroid”—details that match earlier sightings in the GSM certification database and has also appeared in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database. The listing also suggests that Nothing may only release a single variant of the phone, pushing aside earlier speculation about ‘Pro’ or ‘Plus’ versions.
This flagship model comes after the company’s two mid-range releases earlier in the year. CEO Carl Pei had earlier confirmed that the Nothing Phone 3 would be launched globally in Q3 2025, with a price point around $1,000 (around Rs 85,600). In the UK, it’s expected to cost roughly £800 (around Rs 91,000), while the Indian pricing could range between Rs 45,000 to Rs 50,000—slightly above the launch price of the Nothing Phone 2.

Leaked specifications (via Smartprix) suggest that the Phone 3 will be powered by a flagship Snapdragon chipset, most likely from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 series, as part of the ongoing collaboration between the two companies. The device is also said to include a triple rear camera system, led by a large primary sensor and a periscope zoom lens—a step up from the optics on the Phone 3a Pro.
Design-wise, the handset is expected to feature a redesigned camera module and retain the company’s signature glyph interface. It could also pack a larger battery, possibly exceeding 5,000mAh, which would be the biggest yet on a Nothing or CMF device.
On the software front, the Phone 3 may arrive with Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15, giving users the latest features out of the box. Display specs are also shaping up to be premium, with a rumoured 6.77-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits.
While the company hasn’t officially confirmed the India launch date, the BIS certification is a strong indicator that the release is near.
