Nothing has confirmed that the upcoming Phone (3) will be made in India, marking it as the company’s first true flagship. With local manufacturing, expanded after-sales support, and global design, Nothing aims to strengthen its presence in India’s competitive smartphone market.

London-based tech brand Nothing has confirmed that its upcoming flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3), will be manufactured in India. This announcement aligns with the company’s ongoing commitment to local production and reinforces its position in one of the world’s most dynamic smartphone markets.
Built in India, Designed in London
Like its predecessors, the Phone (1), Phone (2), and the recently launched Phone 3a series, the new Nothing Phone (3) will be assembled at the brand’s facility near Chennai. The factory currently employs over 500 workers, 95% of whom are women, showcasing the role of skilled Indian labour in producing high-end consumer tech.
Nothing emphasized that its approach—“Designed in London and manufactured in India”—combines global design standards with local production expertise. The decision also reflects the brand’s support for the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
First Look and Model Confirmation
The company has started teasing the upcoming Phone (3), including a partial rear panel reveal shared on X (formerly Twitter). The image also confirmed the model number A024, linked directly to the Phone (3), which is set to launch globally and in India on July 1, 2025.

A previously leaked render hints that the new model may not feature the brand’s iconic Glyph LED interface. Instead, Nothing is expected to introduce a new dot matrix display, potentially replacing the Glyph lights with a different kind of visual feedback system—a concept reminiscent of what we’ve seen on Asus ROG Phones, but with a unique Nothing twist.
Expected Specs and Price
The Nothing Phone (3) is being positioned as the company’s first true flagship smartphone, arriving almost two years after the launch of the Phone (2). While full specifications have not yet been confirmed, early leaks suggest that it could be powered by either a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC or a Snapdragon 8-series chip.
Nothing has indicated that the camera and software experience will be key focus areas for the new device. CEO Carl Pei has hinted that the Phone (3) could be priced around GBP 800, which converts to approximately Rs. 93,000—signaling its premium positioning.

Strengthening Support in India
In addition to expanding manufacturing, Nothing is also investing in post-sales service and retail in India. The brand currently operates five exclusive service centers across major cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai, along with 20 priority desks and over 330 authorized service centers. Another 10 priority desks are expected soon.
Retail presence has also grown significantly—from 2,000 stores at the beginning of last year to 10,000 stores now, further cementing Nothing’s growing footprint in India.
Local Investment, Long-Term Vision
Akis Evangelidis, Co-Founder and India President of Nothing, remarked:
“India has been an important market for us ever since the very beginning of Nothing. Every one of our smartphones has been manufactured here — and Phone (3) proudly joins that list. As we accelerate our growth here, we’re doubling down on our investment in local manufacturing, talent, and innovation — fully aligned with the Make in India vision. Phone (3) marks a major milestone: our first true flagship, delivering the very best of Nothing. We can’t wait for our Indian users to experience it.”
