OnePlus 13s launching in India on June 5 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (Elite), dual cameras, Plus Key, and new AI features.

OnePlus is set to unveil its latest smartphone—the OnePlus 13s—in India on June 5, positioning it between the OnePlus 13R and the flagship OnePlus 13. With top-tier specs, AI integration, and a unique new design, the device is expected to appeal to users looking for flagship performance in a more affordable package.
OnePlus 13s: Performance
The standout feature of the OnePlus 13s is its use of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset—the same processor found in the flagship OnePlus 13. Despite being a more compact device, the 13s is expected to deliver flagship-grade performance. The smartphone also includes a vapor chamber cooling system to help manage thermals during intensive tasks.
Battery life is another highlight, with OnePlus claiming the device can last up to 24 hours on a full charge. The phone is expected to ship with OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, offering a smooth and updated software experience.
OnePlus 13s: Design and Display
Design-wise, the OnePlus 13s will feature a rectangular rear camera module, departing from the circular setup used in the 13 and 13R. The phone will be available in three colors: Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and Green Silk. Notably, the Green Silk version has been created exclusively for the Indian market. Both Green Silk and Pink Satin models will come with a new Velvet Glass finish that offers a soft, “skin-like” touch.

Leaks suggest the OnePlus 13s will sport a 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1600 nits. This display will likely be paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, delivering top-tier performance.

AI Features and the New ‘Plus Key’
One of the most notable upgrades is the replacement of the classic alert slider with a new Plus Key. This customizable button is capable of performing a variety of tasks including switching sound profiles, opening the camera, launching translation, and starting recordings. The key will also activate the OnePlus AI Plus Mind, a feature designed to capture and analyze on-screen content for future use.

In addition to the Plus Key, the device brings a host of AI tools including AI VoiceScribe, AI Translation, AI Search, AI Reframe, and AI Best Face 2.0. OnePlus has also strengthened integration with Google’s Gemini AI, ensuring that native apps such as Notes and Clock can work seamlessly with the AI assistant.

OnePlus 13s: Camera
Official teasers have confirmed a 32MP front camera with autofocus. On the back, the OnePlus 13s will feature a dual-camera setup, which is expected to include a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor with OIS, along with a 50MP 2x telephoto lens. This would mark a significant upgrade over the camera configuration found in its predecessor.
Expected Pricing and Availability
While the official price will be announced during the launch event, industry reports suggest the OnePlus 13s will retail between ₹50,000 – ₹55,000. If this pricing holds true, the phone will offer a balanced mix of performance, design, and AI features—positioned neatly between the more affordable OnePlus 13R and the premium OnePlus 13.
