OnePlus has launched the Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition in China with Dimensity 9400 series chips, AMOLED displays, large batteries, and fast charging.

OnePlus has officially launched two new smartphones in China—Ace 5 Ultra Edition and Ace 5 Racing Edition. These new additions to the Ace 5 lineup bring notable upgrades, including high-end MediaTek chipsets, big batteries, AMOLED displays, and fast charging support. Interestingly, while the Ace series typically remains China-exclusive, reports suggest one of these models could arrive in India as the Nord 5.
OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra and Racing Edition: Pricing Details
The OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition is the more affordable of the two, starting at CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs 21,320) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. It goes up to CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs 29,610) for the top-end 16GB + 512GB version.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra Edition, on the other hand, starts at CNY 2,499 (approx. Rs 29,630) for the 12GB + 256GB variant and goes up to CNY 3,799 (approx. Rs 45,000) for the 16GB + 1TB model. Both phones are already on sale in China.
OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra Edition: Specifications
The Ultra Edition features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, variable refresh rate up to 144Hz, and peak brightness of 1,400 nits. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chip, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
The phone comes with a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera. It supports 4K 60fps video recording and runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 15.

Other key features include stereo speakers, in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a 6,700mAh battery with 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.
The design includes a straight display, flat edges, and a vertically aligned dual-camera setup within a metallic housing. It is available in Burning Titanium, Phantom Black, and Breeze Blue colors. There’s also a multifunction shortcut key on the side for quick actions like mute, recording, and translation.
OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition: Specifications
The Racing Edition sports a slightly smaller 6.77-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,300 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the Dimensity 9400e processor and comes with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor, with support for 4K 60fps video. It also has a 16MP front camera. The phone runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 and features stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

The major highlight here is the large 7,100mAh battery—the biggest ever in a OnePlus smartphone—along with 80W fast charging. It also includes the company’s self-developed gaming features like the Fengchi gaming core and a glacier cooling system for better thermal performance.
