OnePlus has launched its latest truly wireless earbuds — the OnePlus Buds 4 — alongside the Nord 5 series, which includes the OnePlus Nord 5 and the OnePlus Nord CE5. These fourth-generation earbuds bring a combination of premium audio features and longer battery life, all packed into a stylish design at a competitive price point of Rs. 5,999.
The OnePlus Buds 4 feature a sleek matte finish and include dual drivers — an 11mm ceramic-metal diaphragm woofer and a 6mm precision tweeter — delivering an ultra-wide frequency response of 15Hz to 40KHz. The setup is backed by dual DACs, a feature previously seen in the Buds Pro 2, aiming to deliver enhanced clarity and detail in sound reproduction.
One of the standout features of the Buds 4 is the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which reaches up to 55dB — the highest on any OnePlus earbuds so far. The ANC covers a wide 5,500Hz noise reduction frequency range, helping users enjoy immersive audio even in noisy environments. For audiophiles, there’s support for LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res Audio, which allows up to 1Mbps wireless transmission rate, ensuring studio-quality audio when paired with compatible devices.
These earbuds are also designed with convenience in mind. There are touch controls, including volume control, and IP55 dust and water resistance, making them suitable for workouts and daily use. They also support OnePlus 3D Audio, Golden Sound, and Hi-Res Audio, further enhancing the listening experience.
Battery life is another strong point. With ANC off, users can expect up to 9 hours from the buds alone, and 45 hours with the case. With ANC on, the numbers drop to 6 hours (buds) and 37 hours (with case). A quick 10-minute charge provides up to 11 hours of playback with both the earbuds and case combined. The case houses a 520mAh battery, while each earbud carries a 62mAh cell.
An interesting addition is AI Translation, available when paired with a OnePlus phone. This feature enables real-time translation, making cross-language conversations more accessible.

The OnePlus Buds 4 is priced at Rs. 5,999 and will be available in Zen Green and Storm Gray color options. Sales begin July 9 at 12 PM IST, and the earbuds will be available on Amazon.in, OnePlus.in, the OnePlus Store App, Flipkart, Myntra, and offline channels like OnePlus Experience Stores, Reliance Digital, Croma, Vijay Sales, Bajaj Electronics, and more.
