OnePlus Buds 4 are launching in India on July 8 with up to 55dB ANC, LHDC 5.0, dual DACs, 45-hour battery life, AI translation, and more. Here’s everything you need to know.

OnePlus has officially confirmed that its next-generation true wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds 4, will launch in India on July 8. The brand has now shared key specifications ahead of the debut, highlighting a strong focus on sound quality, smart features, and user-friendly design.
The OnePlus Buds 4 will come in Zen Green and Storm Gray colours and will be sold via Amazon.in, the OnePlus online store, Experience Stores, and select offline retailers. With an aim to elevate everyday listening, OnePlus is introducing several noteworthy upgrades in this new model.
One of the key highlights is the support for up to 55dB Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which is among the highest in its class. This is combined with dual drivers and dual DACs to ensure high-fidelity audio output across a wide range of frequencies. The earbuds also support Hi-Res LHDC 5.0 and 3D audio, which should enhance spatial sound and clarity, especially while streaming or watching content.

For mobile gamers, the Buds 4 include a 47ms ultra-low latency Game Mode, designed to reduce audio lag during gameplay. This feature will be especially useful for competitive gamers where sound timing is crucial.

Battery life is another major focus. The earbuds alone are said to deliver up to 11 hours of playback, while the case extends total usage to around 45 hours. Fast charging support means users can get hours of use from just a few minutes of charging.
In terms of usability, OnePlus is introducing slide gesture controls for volume adjustment directly on the earbud stems. The Steady Connect feature ensures a more stable Bluetooth connection, especially in crowded or outdoor environments where connectivity tends to drop.

There’s also a strong emphasis on smart integration. The Buds 4 come with AI Translation, allowing users to translate conversations in real-time by simply tapping the earbuds — a feature that could be particularly useful during travel or business meetings. The earbuds also support Google Fast Pair for quick pairing and Dual-Device Connection, enabling users to switch between two paired devices without any hassle.
More details, including pricing, will be revealed during the official launch on July 8.
