OnePlus has launched the Nord CE5 in India with a 6.77″ FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset, 7100mAh battery, and up to 12GB RAM. Prices start at Rs. 24,999.
OnePlus has expanded its Core Edition lineup with the launch of the Nord CE5 in India. Unveiled as promised, the new mid-range smartphone brings a refined combination of power, display performance, and battery life — all at a competitive starting price of Rs. 24,999.
At the center of the Nord CE5 is a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and vibrant color accuracy. The screen reaches 1300 nits HBM and a peak brightness of 1430 nits, ensuring good visibility even in direct sunlight.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex chipset, a 4nm processor paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, along with an additional 8GB virtual RAM boost. Storage options go up to 256GB UFS 3.1, ensuring fast app loading and multitasking.
OnePlus says the phone is designed to sustain high performance in demanding games. It supports up to 120FPS gaming in popular titles like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile. To back this, the Nord CE5 comes equipped with an advanced CryoVelocity VC Cooling system featuring a graphene-based composite vapor chamber with a 7,041 mm² surface area, among the largest in its class.
In terms of cameras, the phone houses a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera, capable of recording up to 1080p at 60fps. The rear camera supports up to 4K 60fps video recording.
The Nord CE5 runs on Android 15 with OxygenOS 15. In a first for the Core Edition series, OnePlus is promising 4 years of Android OS updates and 6 years of security patches, giving users long-term software support typically reserved for higher-end models.
One of the biggest highlights is the 7100mAh battery, the largest ever in a OnePlus device. It supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, which can fully charge the phone in just over an hour. The device also features bypass charging, which reduces heat during gaming or extended usage.
Other features include in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, infrared sensor, and support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. The Nord CE5 also retains essential OnePlus traits like clean software, gaming optimizations, and a solid build.
