OnePlus Nord CE5 is set to launch on July 8 with a Dimensity 8350 Apex chip, massive 7100mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and enhanced 50MP camera with 4K HDR video support.
With just days to go for the launch of the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE5 on July 8, OnePlus has officially confirmed some key specifications of the Nord CE5, highlighting a strong focus on performance, battery life, and imaging features.
The OnePlus Nord CE5 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex processor. According to the company, the device scores over 1.47 million on AnTuTu, which it claims is the highest in its segment. It will also come with LPDDR5X RAM and is designed to handle gaming-intensive tasks with ease, offering 120fps support in popular games like BGMI and Call of Duty: Mobile.
A major highlight is the inclusion of a massive 7,100mAh battery — a significant leap over the 5,500mAh battery found in its predecessor. OnePlus says the battery supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, capable of going from 1% to 100% in just 59 minutes. A quick 10-minute charge can deliver up to 6 hours of YouTube streaming, making it a reliable option for heavy users. The device also includes OnePlus’s proprietary Battery Health Magic, which intelligently manages charging to preserve long-term battery performance. For gamers, the Bypass Charging feature allows the phone to draw power directly from the charger while in use, reducing heat and helping extend battery life.
In terms of camera, the Nord CE5 carries forward the 50MP Sony LYT-600 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) from the Nord CE4. However, this time it incorporates software enhancements from the flagship OnePlus 13 series, including a RAW HDR algorithm and Real Tone exposure system. These features aim to deliver improved image clarity, vibrant colours, and more natural skin tones. The phone also supports 4K HDR video recording at 60fps, appealing to users who demand better video quality from their smartphones.

OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord CE5 will be available for purchase in India starting July 12. Meanwhile, the Nord 5 and OnePlus Buds 4 will go on sale from July 9. The new devices will be available through Amazon.in, the official OnePlus India website, and offline stores.
