OnePlus has officially unveiled its latest flagship tablet, the Pad 2 Pro, in China. The new device arrives as a successor to the Pad Pro and is equipped with powerful hardware including the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a large high-resolution display, and a long-lasting battery.
The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro features a 13.2-inch LCD panel with a 3.4K resolution (3,392 x 2,400 pixels), offering a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, 900 nits peak brightness, and Dolby Vision support. It delivers a pixel density of 315ppi and an 89.3 percent screen-to-body ratio, making it suitable for entertainment and productivity alike.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and comes in multiple RAM and storage options: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB. Storage is UFS 4.0, and RAM is LPDDR5X. The device runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, as is standard for OnePlus products in China.
The tablet includes a large 12,140mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. For heat management, it comes equipped with a large 34,857mm² vapour chamber cooling system, aiming to deliver stable gaming performance and efficient multitasking.
In terms of optics, the Pad 2 Pro offers a 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front camera for video calls. The rear camera setup also includes a color spectrum sensor, while the front-facing unit is positioned for video conferencing and selfies.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The tablet also supports AI-powered features and has an eight-speaker setup for an immersive audio experience. It measures 289.61 x 209.66 x 5.97mm and weighs 675 grams. Users can also pair it with a cover keyboard, sold separately.
OnePlus Pad 2 Pro Price and Availability
The Pad 2 Pro starts at CNY 3,199 (approx. Rs 37,900) for the base 8GB + 256GB variant. Other options include:
- 12GB + 256GB at CNY 3,499 (around Rs 41,500)
- 12GB + 512GB at CNY 3,799 (around Rs 45,000)
- 16GB + 512GB at CNY 3,999 (approx. Rs 47,400)
It is available in two colours: Deep Sea Blue and Glacier Silver. Pre-orders have already begun in China, and official sales will start on May 20 via the Oppo store and select online platforms.
